Hello and welcome to my website!

My name is Zayne Geffre, and I am an aspiring software developer from the Midwest. I have always had a passion for video games, and throughout my childhood and adult life, I always dreamed of designing and making the things that have brought me so much joy. However, it always seemed unattainable until recently. I realized that, even with all of the expensive schooling and classes available, there is another option - being self-taught. Through this third option, I have started to realize that perhaps my dream isn't as impossible as I once thought.

I have two years of experience as a C# and JavaScript developer and have worked on a variety of projects, from a flight booking web application to a retro-style tower defense game. I am confident that with my creativity and my desire to bring joy into everything I work on, I will be able to develop something truly wonderful, whether it is a game or a web application. I am detail-oriented and enjoy exhausting all options when faced with a tough problem before considering giving up. I believe that this skill will make me a valuable asset to any project.

In my free time, I enjoy playing video games, learning about the latest tech, spending time with my amazing wife and brilliant daughter, and most likely at the lake during the summer months.

I created this website to establish myself as a developer in a professional setting. To do that, I needed a place to showcase my work, and designing a site that looks clean and professional was a fun challenge.
